More about Battery life in the eo.

Guys, we have been very busy here, trying to find out what's causing this poor battery life in the eo because many of us think that we should get close two hours and no 1.5 that's what everybody is getting. The good news is that it seems to me that we have found what's causing this issue. Another good news is that this problem have been present before in other laptops and it's caused by a bug in Microsoft USB drivers.

I would recommend other eo owners to keep an eye open toward that forum and to participate in our tests if possible.

Update: According to some tests it's possible to get up to 2:25 mins. from current eo Battery, just by disabling the USB portion of the device manager. That's really a good news!

  1. Does this have anything in common with the Core Duo USB bug? If you're not familiar take a look at the link below.

  3. Can you give us some info on (EO) sleep times? How long does it take to enter sleep/resume, how long can you keep the device in this state, and how long does it take to commence work again?

    Thanks

  4. Do you mean Standby? It goes on from Standby in a few seconds... it's hard for me to give a number because I have in the middle an screen asking me for the log on to my network password.
