I just got this email from John Hill from Alltp.com:
Well, the first eo UMPCs have been delivered and the online discussions are coming fast and furious. Like every new technology there seems to be plenty of naysayers who complain that the device doesn't have a 24 hour battery, include an 8 megapixel camera, incorporate Broadband and have a slot for a toothbrush.
I'm kidding of course, but it seems to be the bloodsport of pundits and wags to put down any new innovation. UMPCs are not supposed to be powerful computers, nor is the first generation going to be perfect. Read my first impressions here. We've had an additional 35 black and white eo's on order since the beginning of April. They are 512Mb RAM, 40Gb units. Most are pre-sold but some of each color are still available.
To order, visit our store - your credit card will be charged for a $100 deposit only so if you find it elsewhere first, we'll refund the deposit. Vist our store - www.alltp.com.
There is plenty of discussion online in the blogosphere about what applications are working on the eo, battery life tests and general impressions. Here are some of the ones we follow:

UltraMobile PC Tips
Microsoft Origami Team
Thanks John for the information! I hope that you are putting some preasure asking for a Battery Life Fix too!
