This is an unconfirmed rumor but if it’s real I would say that it’s a sad news. And I say this because I was lucky enough to have one of these devices in my hand (see pictures) and their quality is really good thou the price probably is what is killing them in this economic crisis. According to rumor published today in Engadget, OQO is having some financial problems:
the company's in dire financial straits and is looking to sell, and that the Model 2+ may be the last OQO device made, if it ever gets released. More worrisome, European retailer eXpansys is reportedly canceling orders for the MID and removing all the company's products from the site, due to what it's telling customers is "uncertainties to stock availability."
This is what happens when you don't have a low-end model & with prices no joe can attain.
