Of course, you can also use that same screen to set it to "Ask me". That causes the power switch to bring up a dialog where you can select stand-by, restart or turn-off. This is the same thing as selecting "Shut down" from the Start menu.
ReplyDeleteI have my eo set this way, which then lets me quickly choose which option I want with a simple tap on the screen. Sometimes a full shut-down is preferable, if the unit will be in a bag for a while and avoiding battery drain is more important than a quick start-up. It also is nice to have such a quick access to the restart option for those occasions when it is needed.
