"The only way to be truly satisfied, is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do."

I personally think that the movement of the entire keyboard up and down as you typed would drive a person insane. I applaud them for stepping out and trying something new, but I don't see myself buying one.
I find that crazy too. And from that video you can see that nobody is going to use it on that way. People need to look at the keyboard to type. At least the majority of the people needs that. Only the old school typewriters won't complain about it.
I'm not sure I buy into any aspect of this device. For starters I'm pretty sure I could not stand panning around the screen like that. How do I know? Well I've had to do that with VNC - hated it. I hate when an article or document does wrap properly to the screen on my pocket pC. So I'm pretty sure I would hate it there too. As for that funky keyboard... there is no way you could touch type on it. From the video I think it only looks like it has separate tactile keys. In fact each 'pad' appears to be completley flat and smooth with a picture of keys silk screened on. My guess is there is no tactile feed back at all for each key - so I don't even think you would be able to thumb type on it effectively. The two pads are in reality two standard capacitive touch pads (like you would find on a standard laptop), with keys painted on them and each mounted like a giant button. Also is it me or does the thing look like it is over two inches thick when closed?
