Does the driver support the S5 too? Any idea if there is one for the S5?

ReplyDeleteI downloaded it, and installed it on my S5 with Windows 7. I then went to Device Manager and chose the first PS2 device, and updated the driver, pointing to the x32 folder in the driver. Most everything now works, although I have a few issues... The login keyboard works, as does the onscreen keyboard that pulls out from a tab. What doesn't work is the small 'tip' icon which is supposed to appear when I tap in the address bar on Internet Explorer. Also, the only calibration that works is the one in VilivMgr.
ReplyDeleteTruthfully, these issues may be self-inflicted, as I have not found doccumentation for installing the driver correctly. Also, I'm hesitant to remove the VilivMgr applet, since it's also what controls WiFi and Bluetooth.
Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I do not have a S5 to see if the drivers work or not correctly.

Are there instructions for loading the HID drivers on an X70 posted anywhere on the Internet? If so, could you please provide me a link, and if not, just give a quick description of what you did to install them on your X70?

Officially no. but in the UMPCPortal.com forum there is a discussion opened about this driver so there I believe that I have seen people talking about their experience in how to install it.

damn! trying to install it on s5 for days no with no success! when i try the way sysmgr2 did, i get a BSOD! Please few more hins for installing!

ReplyDeleteGood day. I decided to update the driver in the Viliv X70 using DriverPack _Solution_ 11_ R164W. Drivers are updated. A driver for the touchpad is not updated. . An error has occurred.
