This demo can be categorized as a classic demonstration of how UMPCs can be used in many different real live situations.

Panasonic Toughbook UMPCs

Panasonic is making a Toughbook UMPC which with an Atom processor seems to me anything but tough. Here is what Wired.com says about it: 

The upcoming Toughbook CF-U1 UMPC is powered by Intel's new Atom processor and seems to fit a wish we asked for last year: Just build a UMPC that is simple, tough, and has a long battery life.
