Playing divx at 700 to 1000 kbps is the best way to go.

I cant test overclocking in this unit. It's too risky and this unit is not mine.

Some news: I'm playing right now Quake II on it. Nuke 3D also plays well.ctitanichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01780087839694527674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23949348.post-14050702107397035202007-10-21T17:07:00.000-04:002007-10-21T17:07:00.000-04:00Thanks, Frank!as for what I would like to check......Thanks, Frank!

as for what I would like to check...

1)
there is a little concern over Everun's perfomance in certain multimedia tasks, namely WMV playback.

I wonder if there is a software solution to this problem.

So, could you please use Elphant's Dream 720 (available here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=522cde5b-68ad-4d79-a446-a25c2e126e24&displaylang=en ) to test the following players on Everun:

VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Zoom Player http://www.inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_download.shtml#FEATURES

I wonder if using one of those renowned players will alleviate the Everun vs WMV isse (both of theese players are claimed to be quite efficient and low-footprint)

2)
Is Everun overclockable? Is there a way to get access to its FSB/multiplier/etc and push its limits just a little bit?

Most of all, I am interested whether any of the Windows oveclocking software (like CPUMSR
and CrystalCPUID) will work...Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12249724365465771149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23949348.post-85136837972043580842007-10-18T11:55:00.000-04:002007-10-18T11:55:00.000-04:00The e-mail has been returned, so I'll copy it here...The e-mail has been returned, so I'll copy it here:

Hello Aaron.

If the pen doesn't put the mouse cursor where you tap, you only need to
recalibrate it for the new orientation, as I say in the "readme".

As for the mouse, the Synaptics driver must be installed, so if you have
not installed it do it now. Then open the task manager and check if the
process "SynTPEnh.exe" is running. If it's not runnig, then execute it
with "Windows+R" key combination. Once it's running execute RotateT700
again and re-enable the rotation.

If it doesn't work yet then try going to the mouse properties on the
control panel, then to the Synaptics tab and enter to edit the values,
even if you really don't change anything.

I hope this help.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23949348.post-9959473440418339492007-10-18T11:46:00.000-04:002007-10-18T11:46:00.000-04:00Hello Aaron,I sent you an e-mail.Hello Aaron,

I sent you an e-mail.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23949348.post-25364060658218505872007-10-16T15:00:00.000-04:002007-10-16T15:00:00.000-04:00Thanks Frank;I'm really hoping it is me doing some...Thanks Frank;

I'm really hoping it is me doing something wrong since the software works otherwise.

I checked the forums (translated from Spanish) and no one else seems to be indicating anything wrong with them using it.

I recalibrated the screen in portrait with still no luck.

I'm really hoping it's me and I'll be able to get this working.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00488104886357256254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23949348.post-44603213817918272092007-10-16T06:47:00.000-04:002007-10-16T06:47:00.000-04:00I forwarded your note to him.I forwarded your note to him.ctitanichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01780087839694527674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23949348.post-42634722520722151892007-10-16T04:17:00.000-04:002007-10-16T04:17:00.000-04:00Hi Frank;I'm sorry for posting here but I have no ...Hi Frank;

I'm sorry for posting here but I have no other way of contacting you.

I am happy to finally see the screen rotation utility for the Amtek T700. However, it seems just to be a screen rotation utility, all tablet functionality disappears.

The pen and the cursor are reverse mirror images of each other.

Is there any way you can contact the developer to see if this is how it is supposed to be or did I do something wrong.

To reiterate, screen rotation does work but the tablet/pen functions are pretty much useless.

Thank you,
Aaron J.
