Intel Silverthorne to make its debut this week

This is a really very good news published at Intomobile.com, I'm really dying to see what this Silverthorne is capable of, I do not want another nasty surprise like the performance and "battery life" that we have seen in the A110 and A100 processors.

Intel is slated to debut the Silverthorne microprocessor later this week.

As a scaled-down x86 chip, Silverthorne can top out at 2Ghz (2W) to do the heavy-lifting, while also dialing-down to a more mobile-friendly 600mW operating range. Silverthorne should bring Pentium M performance to the mobile space.
